You’ve got to love multitasking!
I won’t go on about how busy I am – it seems to be a standard these last few months – if 2012 is going to be anything like this year job-wise, sign me up!
Supertalent Season 3 live shows have come to an end which I don’t entirely regret because we’ve already started pre-production of Masterchef Croatia Season 2. It was very, very cool doing live productions (and very stressful at times) but the adrenalin rush you get from doing a live broadcast is simply addictive!
Speaking of live productions – the company I’m freelancing for at the moment recently did this huge humanitarian concert on the main square in Zagreb (capital of Croatia) for Ana Rukavina Foundation which helps people suffering from leukaemia and works on increasing bone marrow donations for the Croatian Registry of donors. All in all, it’s a huge event which includes many Croatian VIPs (politicians, musicians, doctors, public persons) and is broadcasted on national television. The production staff of Supertalent was asked to volunteer on the project – help run the call center, direct and broadcast the whole event and provide technical support. It was a huge challenge, mostly because we only had a week to prepare everything – and it was all happening in the midst of our two final Supertalent shows! I think it was the most demanding project I have ever worked on. We went live for 3 whole hours and it was, for the most part, improvisation and immediate decisions – talk about adrenalin rush! In the end, the event was a big success and an awesome experience (with more to come, hopefully!).
There are only bits and pieces on YouTube, but here’s a little insight in the atmosphere on the square:

Immediately after the concert, we got on with Supertalent season Finals and Superfinals with Promenada Klub (theatre of shadows) as winners and Borislav Vranic as the runner-up:
What a year it’s been!
And in other news…
Oh my, it’s been a while since I’ve updated the site and, fortunately, there were some major updates during summer
“Penny for Your Song” was in the official competition of Starigrad Paklenica Film Festival 2011 and we had a blast promoting it. The documentary was also featured in the official programme of Liburnia Film Festival which we were very pleased with and, hopefully, so was the audience!
But summer was as much work as it was play
– I’m currently working on Croatia’s Got Talent (or Supertalent) season 3 as content coordinator. We’ve travelled the hell out of Croatia during July in search of some really cool and interesting talents. Good project, good contestants, good crew – my summer couldn’t have been better. Now it’s off to the editing room and there’s still the Recall show to do before we go LIVE in September! Can’t wait!
Here’s the official trailer of CGT (Supertalent) 3! Enjoy and check us out on our offical Facebook page!
What I’m working on: Masterchef Croatia
Been extremely busy lately – which, of course, is a good thing! My latest gig was (and still is) MasterChef Croatia and we’re currently in week 9 of filming. I must say it’s the biggest and the most demanding project I’ve ever worked on, but – it’s all worth it! Fingers crossed for Season 2, until then check out a few trailers and the official website and the Facebook site, which is unfortunately only in Croatian – but you’ll get the picture;)
My secret obsession: Fashion Videos
By all means I have tried not to turn this into just another fashion blog, but lately my interests seem to be exactly there. I did a feature on this Tom Ford video today and the only comment my editor made was ‘It looks like as if you would have heroin flashes.’
That I wouldn’t really know, but I like how stylish and cool this little piece is. From music and photography to editing, it’s perfect – as I see it. And it’s not only because I like the clothes
So, I give you Tom Ford Spring/Summer 2011:

The new fireworks: 3D Projection Wonders
I love, love, love this! Seeing the H&M 3D projection mapping for the Amsterdam store opening made me wish I got into animation! Very cool.
Samsung did it first, Ralph Lauren did a simultaneous projection in London and New York to mark the 10 years of the brand and now comes H&M.
It’s the new fireworks!
